Delivering Christmas Kindness

Basket Brigade is an annual charity event in Norwich, inspired by Anthony Robbins; delivering unconditional kindness in the form of food hampers.

It is a global initiative that has been running for over 30 years and feeds around three million people worldwide every Christmas.

Join our amazing team this year and bring joy to those having a tough time in Norfolk.

“Every moment that you’re contributing to the greater good will lead to a life full of more joy and fulfillment. Instead of finding excuses, find your purpose. Find the cause that speaks to you and start giving back today.”

Anthony Robbins

Volunteer With Norwich Basket Brigade

This amazing initiative would not happen if it wasn’t for the wonderful kindhearted people who give their time before the event and on the 23rd December. It is a great way to meet like-minded friends and join the cheer at Christmas, but more importantly, making it a Christmas to remember not only for you, but for those whom we support who are less fortunate .

There are lots of ways to get involved and there aren’t any long application forms to complete. We just need your commitment and passion. Have a look at the roles below then complete our Volunteer Form so we can get in touch with you.

On 23rd December, volunteers get together to make and deliver the hampers – it’s a very special day that makes Christmas come alive. Be surrounded by positive people creating something magical and spreading kindness!

We can’t do it without you though! Please contact us via our Volunteer Form first to let us know if you are coming, so we know numbers in advance. Children are more than welcome (and are the responsibility of parents), but dogs need to stay at home.

We meet in the hall at Cringleford CE VA Primary School, Dragonfly Lane, Cringleford, Norwich NR4 7JR. There is ample parking available.

The rough schedule on the day (all timings are approximate and depend on numbers of baskets/volunteers this year):
8.30am – 9.30am: Prepare basket contents, card making
9.30am – 10.30am: Create baskets
10.30am – 11.00am: All delivery drivers leave
11.00am – 11.30am: Clear the hall

It truly is a greater joy to give than to receive – come and experience it for yourself this year. Be part of our amazing team giving something back this Christmas!

If there is another way you feel you can help Norwich Basket Brigade, please get in touch. We’d really love to hear from you!
